Advisory Solutions for Wealth Managers

Four services, one discipline: write down the reasoning, keep the open questions visible, leave the decision with you.

Most of this work starts with a question somebody has to answer in front of other people — an investment committee, a client, a regulator reading back through a file. What is needed is rarely more information. It is evidence organised so a decision can be made, recorded, and still explained two years later.

Start from the question you have

  • Fund Advisory — one question, answered now. Which of these three, and why does this one behave differently? A documented comparison in time for the meeting.
  • Fund Research & Selection — a universe, reduced to a defensible shortlist. Screening, operational and investment due diligence, and a status you can point to: Selected, Watchlist, Not selected.
  • Portfolio Advisory — every holding was sound on its own; what are they doing together? Construction, exposure and risk review, rebalancing, monitoring.
  • Dedicated Mandates — nothing on the shelf fits, so a manager has to be found and appointed. Guidelines, search, operational review, and the evidence trail behind the appointment.

The four connect: a comparison can draw on the selection work, a portfolio review can send you back to manager selection, and a mandate search uses the same due diligence. You do not have to know which one you need before getting in touch.

Who this is for

Swiss private banks, family offices, financial intermediaries and other professional institutions — typically where an internal team already has a view and needs an independent one beside it, a documented shortlist, a second opinion on its own recommendation, or structured support for portfolio and manager oversight.

Professionals reviewing the published research can also visit the full list, which publishes the current Long Only selection.

How it works

We define the mandate, the decision context and the output required before any research starts, because those determine what evidence is worth gathering. Work then moves from screening and shortlisting into investment and operational due diligence. Conclusions are written with their rationale, their unresolved points and their monitoring implications; where the engagement continues, that same record supports updates, portfolio reviews and rebalancing discussions.

The full governance approach is set out in Methodology & Independence. Merit-based selection and research conclusions are kept separate from commercial relationships, which do not determine a fund’s research conclusion or selection status.

What these services do not do

  • They do not make the decision, and they do not assess suitability for a specific client. Both stay with you.
  • They do not manage money or execute. Implementation remains inside your governance.
  • They do not deliver certainty. Conclusions carry their open questions rather than hiding them, and monitoring exists because those conclusions age.
  • These outputs support professional documentation and decision processes. They do not constitute an offer or solicitation, and are intended for qualified investors and professional users in Switzerland.

Discuss your research requirement

Bring the fund question, the committee need or the portfolio problem. We will work out which of the four it is and what you should receive.
