Cookie Policy

This page explains how wspartners.ch uses cookies and similar technologies.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owners.

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Pages that provide Stripe payment functionality may use Stripe cookies or similar storage for payment security and fraud prevention. Stripe payment components are restricted to payment contexts and are not loaded on general content pages. These functions are separate from optional audience analytics and the choices in Privacy settings. See Stripe’s Cookie Policy.

These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They include session cookies and security cookies required for authentication and form submissions. You cannot opt out of these cookies.

Analytics cookies

With your permission, Google Analytics and PostHog measure public-page visits, newsletter campaign and link placement, fund and service pages, visible fund sections, estimated active time, scrolling, public filter choices, chart controls, pointer pauses over selected metrics, and document and contact clicks. We use a random browser identifier to join permitted activity on that browser. We also measure site-search use and result counts, the websites that outbound links lead to, and which Fund News stories are opened and scrolled. We do not collect what you type in forms or searches, and a click or pointer pause does not prove that content was read. We count public-page loads and measurement choices in daily totals without cookies, visitor identifiers or IP addresses; these totals also include visits without analytics permission.

Optional analytics starts only after you choose it in Privacy settings in the footer. Masked recordings and personal follow-up each require a separate choice and analytics permission. Investor confirmation does not grant tracking permission. There is no automatic tracking popup; optional tracking remains off until selected.

Optional recordings and heatmaps

A separate choice allows PostHog to record masked clicks, scrolling and pointer movements on public pages. Text and source attributes are masked. Forms, private account pages, images, SVG and canvas are excluded. Recordings require audience analytics permission and are incomplete because of this masking.

Local storage and duration

We store measurement choices in local storage and a signed first-party consent cookie for up to 180 days. After permission, PostHog stores a random browser identifier in local storage; we clear its stored analytics identifiers when optional analytics is withdrawn. Campaign labels are carried in tab-session storage. After permission, we also keep in local storage, for up to 180 days, the campaign labels and referring website of your first visit and of your latest visit from another website, and we delete them when you withdraw optional analytics. PostHog also records site-quality signals, such as repeated or unresponsive clicks, page errors and loading speed, without the text of the page or anything you type. Google Analytics also uses its own analytics cookies after permission. The Privacy Policy describes providers and retention.

Advertising cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. Permitted website activity is analysed to understand interest in our content. Where a newsletter link carries a random WS Partners reference, the separate personal follow-up choice can connect permitted activity with the original recipient’s subscription and contact record. This choice is off unless selected and requires audience analytics permission. The Privacy Policy explains forwarded links, the 90-day reference limit, the 30-day contact summary and withdrawal cleanup. Declining leaves the newsletter, public pages and contact form usable.

Preference Cookies

These cookies remember choices you make, such as acknowledging our disclaimer or setting display preferences. They help provide a more personalised experience.

How to Control Cookies

Use Privacy settings in the footer to change your choices or reject optional analytics, recordings and personal follow-up. Declining leaves the site and contact form usable. Browser settings can remove cookies and local storage. Withdrawal stops future collection; contact info@wspartners.ch to request deletion of information already collected.

Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of this website.
