Fund advisory
Understand the differences between funds before a committee or client decision.
Fund Advisory examines a specific comparison, an unexpected change or a potential replacement. The answer sets out the evidence, its implications and what remains unresolved.
What you get
- A Fund Comparison Note explaining material differences in strategy, portfolio, performance context and risk.
- A client explanation with reviewed language and editable talking points.
- A scoped evidence pack identifying supporting documents, missing evidence and unresolved findings. It is not presented as a full operational review unless that work was done.
- Replacement candidates, where agreed, assessed against the same criteria.
The scope may cover one question or draw on existing Fund Research & Selection work.
When to bring us a question
For Swiss private banks, family offices and other professional teams comparing candidates, examining a change or seeking a second view. For interactions between several holdings, see Portfolio Advisory.
How it works
We agree the question, intended reader, timetable and evidence needed. We compare the relevant investment and operational findings, then document the conclusion and any further examination required.
The same independence rules apply to every advisory answer. As explained in Methodology & Independence, merit-based research conclusions are separate from commercial relationships. A commercial relationship cannot determine the advisory conclusion or selection status.
What fund advisory does not do
- The decision remains yours. Fund Advisory documents the basis for it; it does not assess suitability for a specific client.
- The response covers the question you bring. Where a fund needs a full selection conclusion rather than a comparison, that is the work described under Fund Research & Selection.
- These outputs support professional documentation and decision processes. They do not constitute an offer or solicitation, and are intended for qualified investors and professional users in Switzerland.
