Maverick Silicon Fund II raises more than $1.1B, topping debut vehicle

Maverick Silicon Fund II has raised more than $1.1B, exceeding the $813M Maverick Silicon raised for its first fund, Dakota Private Markets reported.

Launched by Maverick Capital in 2024, the fund targets semiconductor, AI infrastructure and related technology businesses, mainly in Series B to D rounds with checks of $20M to $150M, and it remains open with no disclosed target. Recent activity includes leading Lyte's $165M Series C financing at a $1.6B valuation.
