Audax Private Equity targets $6.25B for Fund VIII

Audax Private Equity is targeting $6.25B for Audax Private Equity Fund VIII, its eighth flagship buyout fund, according to Dakota Private Markets.

Dakota said the target is about 19% above Fund VII's $5.25B hard cap in 2023. Audax's smaller-company Origins strategy raised $774M in 2023.
