The fund is a core strategy for an US equity allocation. The Good Governance fund’s universe is comprised exclusively of companies within the S&P 500 universe.
This strategy has the objective to provide investors with both a true global ESG investment solution and superior returns.
It is their belief that the quality of the Board, the management of a company are key to deploy good governance practices. In this context the way the company communicates to the outside is a good way of capturing the quality of the governance.
The challenge in measuring Governance is addressed though a systematic analysis of extensive data sets.
The fund employs a unique and highly replicable approach. Governance is scored through a systematic use of the annual report. The scoring has been developed by Pr. Cossin from the IMD in Lausanne. He took profit from his years of experience, advising companies and has developed in 2013 the stewardship scoring model.
The fund has been launched in February 2019 and the track record is too short to be conclusive. However, the model has worked on paper trail since 2016 and back tested since 2007. The strategy shows strong and consistent performance since launch and on paper trail, both in periods on down- and up-markets.
We look forward to welcoming you on December 10th at 9am.
