About the fund
Artemis as a style-agnostic approach for managing US Equities.
This webinar is a unique opportunity to meet with two of the most successful portfolio managers of US equity strategies;
Artemis has developed a strong US franchise since 2014 with the appointment of most of the former Threadneedle US equity team. Since then, the results have been strongly convincing both, for the long-only and for the long / short strategies.
US Extended Alpha and US Smaller Companies use the same investment philosophy, the same investment process and are backed by the same team of analysts. They both using a style-agnostic and pragmatic approach, to invest across the economic cycle and adapt the style bias of their portfolio to where they see the most potential.
US Extended Alpha
The fund is an all cap 130/30 blend strategy. The fund’s gross exposure ranges from 120% to 160% and net exposure from 85 to 100%. It aims to outperform the S&P500. The fund has been of the very few to outperform its benchmark over every time horizon with a core strategy and without any constant style bias.
US Smaller Companies
The fund is a long-only portfolio investing in equities of US smaller companies, typically companies with a market cap of less than $10bn. at the time of the purchase. It aims to outperform the Russell 2000 Index. Since launch in 2014 the fund has generated strong and more importantly regular alpha over time, as expected for an all-weather strategy. In addition, these performances have been achieved with a beta lower than 1.
